2. Flash sale quantity
The number of products participating in the flash sale must be applied according to the number of products in the FBA warehouse. Even if the products shipped to the FBA warehouse are on the way, you cannot apply for more. For example, if there are 2,000 products in the FBA warehouse and 1,000 products shipped to the FBA warehouse, the seller can only apply for 2,000 products at most to participate in the flash sale, and cannot apply for 3,000.
In addition, if there is still some time between the application date and the promotion date, the number of products that may be sold during this period should be removed from the flash sale plan to ensure normal sales. For example, the number of products in the FBA warehouse is 2,000, and the application date is 10 days away from the promotion date. According to previous sales, about 25 products can be sold every day, so 250 products need to be removed, and it is best to apply for only 1,750 products to participate in the flash sale.
Of course, for the sake of insurance, sellers can be more cautious and only apply for 1,600 products to participate in the flash sale, and reserve 150 products in the FBA warehouse to prevent the situation where buyers have no goods to send after bidding. Once such a situation occurs, the responsibility must be borne by the seller.
The effect of the flash sale cannot be generalized. It should be comprehensively evaluated based on factors such as the time of the flash sale, the products of the flash sale, and the strength of the discount. But there is no doubt that the flash sale can indeed quickly increase the number of product views. The number of product views may reach hundreds of thousands or even hundreds of thousands in just a few hours. This is difficult or impossible for sellers who do not do flash sales and only rely on natural traffic to do.
So if there happens to be a suitable product, sellers should do a flash sale. The cost is not very high, but if it is done well, the benefits will be very large. Even if it is not done well, you will gain valuable experience and know your own shortcomings. In the subsequent operation process, you can better check for omissions and improve yourself, and accumulate capital for the next flash sale.
