1. Return and exchange services do not work in cross-border logistics
As we all know, cross-border logistics involves many processes, and both the time period and the geographical span are very large, which often pushes up the entire logistics cost. If return and exchange services are provided, it will greatly affect the profits and development of cross-border micro-e-commerce. However, with the widespread establishment of overseas warehouses for cross-border micro-e-commerce in the future, return and exchange services can be implemented when the time period and geographical span are greatly reduced.
2. Parcel safety is difficult to guarantee
In the goods delivery system of cross-border logistics, each piece of goods often needs to go through several or even more than ten transfers. In addition, it is difficult to ensure that only one logistics company is involved in the delivery of goods from beginning to end, so during the delivery of goods, the package is often damaged or even lost. This phenomenon will not only seriously affect the shopping experience of consumers, but also bring great losses to cross-border micro-e-commerce, such as re-mailing products and being abandoned by customers.
3. Parcel number is difficult to track throughout the process
Although my country has developed very maturely in the field of e-commerce, it is possible to track the whole process of the package in China. However, since cross-border micro-e-commerce has only begun to develop rapidly in the past two years, a complete logistics system has not yet been established in the process of cooperation with logistics companies in various countries abroad. This is the fundamental reason why the parcel number can be tracked in real time in China, but it is difficult to track in the foreign logistics section.
Although in countries with developed logistics systems such as Europe and the United States, you can look up the order number on relevant English websites, but sometimes it is difficult to find it; if the foreign logistics section is a country with a small language or a country with a very backward logistics system, it will be completely difficult to track the package information.
However, with the further development of cross-border micro-e-commerce, my country’s logistics system will soon be able to connect with foreign logistics systems. Once the connection is successful, the whole package tracking and query can be realized.
