Case processing progress check path: Inventory – Manage Amazon shipments – Shipment processing progress – Track shipments.
After the goods arrive at the FBA overseas warehouse, the Amazon overseas warehouse operation center counts the goods into the warehouse and puts them on the shelves. When the platform generates sales, the Amazon operation center directly arranges delivery to the customer. If the customer is not satisfied with the return, the goods will be returned directly to the Amazon operation center. The Amazon operation center will check whether the goods are intact. If there is no problem, they will continue to be put on the shelves for sale: If there is a problem with the returned goods, they cannot be sold again and can only be abandoned. This part of the cost is usually borne by the seller, but the following situations can initiate claims to Amazon:
① The refund has been made to the buyer, but the seller’s returned goods have not been received for more than 45 days;
② The buyer has exchanged the goods and has received the goods, but the original goods have not been returned to the seller;
③ The buyer returns the goods for reasons such as “purchased by mistake”, but the returned goods cannot be sold again.
Regarding order delivery, in addition to delivering orders for goods on this platform, the Amazon operation center can also deliver multi-channel orders. Multi-channel orders are orders from other platforms, such as AliExpress and eBay. If the US Amazon warehouse happens to have stock, they will be delivered directly. Multi-channel delivery is fast and has a high cost.
Multi-channel delivery orders can be viewed in the “Order-Manage Order Interface”.
Regarding inventory removal, inventory removal refers to the removal of unsalable inventory and saleable inventory. Unsalable inventory refers to goods that have been set to “unsalable”, that is, goods that can no longer be sold, and are generally directly abandoned. Removal of saleable inventory means that the current status is still saleable, but it needs to be removed for specific reasons, such as overage inventory or idle inventory. Overage inventory refers to goods that have been stored in the Amazon center for more than 365 days and are subject to long-term storage fees; idle inventory refers to goods that have been stored in the Amazon operation center for six consecutive months or more and have not been sold. Saleable inventory can also be sold at a low price through promotion to clear inventory. If it still cannot be cleared, you can evaluate whether to return the goods to the domestic warehouse. If not, it can only be abandoned.
