1. Activate the main account
Sellers can refer to the Shopee registration method to register the main account. After success, the seller’s registered email will receive a main account invitation activation email. Follow the instructions to complete the main account. activation.
(1) Open the email and click “Activate Account”.
(2) Click “Setup Now!” to start activating the sub-account system.
(3) Fill in the “Enterprise ID” and “Password”.
(4) Verify the phone number of the main account and enter the verification code received by the mobile phone bound to the main account in the “VerifyPhone Number” interface.
It should be reminded that the activation link is valid for 72 hours. If the invitation expires, you can click “Invite Again” on the Subaccount interface to apply for the invitation email to be sent again.
2. Bind stores
(1) Bind the company’s stores
After the company’s main account is activated, all stores under the company’s name will be automatically bound It is designated as a sub-account of the main account. For example, Mr. Chen first registered the main account with the company that sells well. Then the four stores of the company that sell well will be automatically linked to the main account of maidehao: main.
(2) Bind stores of other companies
In order to facilitate sellers to more systematically manage stores under the names of different companies, the sub-parent account system can not only bind stores under the name of the original company. In addition to being bound to the activated main account, you can also bind all stores under the name of other companies to the designated main account. Take two companies, Mr. Chen’s Sell Well and Sell Kuai, as an example. After Sell Kuai’s company activates the main account, the default main account is maidehao:main, and the sub-account is sub-account 1. Sub-account 1 is automatically bound to the original Sell Kuai. All 4 stores under the company’s name – SG, TH, MY and PH. When the company that sells well is also bound to the main account maidehao:main, the sub-account 1 will be bound to all the stores under the company’s names that sell well and sell fast – SG, sell well TH, sell well MY sells well, PH sells fast, and TH sells fast, SG.
Sub-account 1 has back-end login management and chat management rights for all stores bound to sub-account 1.
Bind the stores of multiple companies to the same main account. Taking Mr. Chen as an example, he can add the two stores of Kuaidu Company to the main account maidehao:main. The steps are as follows.
(1) After logging in to the sub-account platform, click “My Team” on the homepage of the sub-account platform to enter the “My Account” interface, and then click “Add Merchant”.
(2) To find the company that needs to be bound, you can search for the company through its mobile phone number and email address. After the search is completed, click “Continue” to complete the merchant addition.
(3) You can choose to bind to the main account maidehao:main through the mobile email address of the company or authorization.
(4) Bind the stores under the Kuaikuai company to the main account maidehaomain.
(3) View stores
Enter the sub-account platform, on the “My Store” interface, you can view all bound stores, click “Details” to view specific member.
(4) Unbinding a store
If a seller needs to unbind a store, he or she can delete the bound company on the sub-account platform. Enter the sub-account platform and click “My Account” and “My Business” in sequence, and click “Delete” in the pop-up Delete Merchant dialog box. Then all stores under this company’s name will be unbound.
Note: Unbinding a store can only be done by unbinding a company. Currently, unbinding a single store under a company is not supported.
If you unbind a store directly, as long as the company is still bound to the main account, the unbound store will be automatically bound back.
3. Create/Change Roles
After activating the main account and binding all stores, in order to facilitate the management of stores by different roles, sellers can add roles to the main account and set the corresponding Store permissions.
(1) System recommended roles
After the sub-account system is activated, enter the “Sub-Account Platform” – “Roles” to view the system’s preset recommended roles. Sellers can directly Use it in the sub-account that has been set up. Click “View Details” to view the permissions of the proposed role. Sellers cannot change the role permissions here.
(2) Create a custom role
If the suggested role does not meet the seller’s needs, the seller can click “Add New Role” to customize it. After filling in the role name and description, check the store permissions that the role can have in the permission details and save it. The platform gives custom roles 3 optional permissions, sub-account platform, Shopee Webchat and Seller Center. A master account can create up to 30 different characters.
When sellers check permissions, please start from the lowest level of permissions. For example, if you want the role to have all permissions for “My Products”, you need to check the three functions of “Edit Products”, “Batch Operations” and “Add Products” instead of just checking “Use ‘My Products'” . If you only check “Use ‘My Products'”, then the role only has the permission to view “My Products” but does not have any editing permissions.
(3) Change/Delete Custom Role
If the responsibilities of the custom role change, the seller can click “View Details” to change or delete it, but the system cannot modify it. ‘suggested roles’.
4. Create sub-accounts
After the role is created, the role needs to be assigned to different members. Take Mr. Chen above as an example. If he wants to set up Xiao Wang as a financial staff member, he must create a sub-account for Xiao Wang and assign the financial role to him, so that Xiao Wang can enter all stores to view accounts/amounts.
(1) Create sub-account Shopee sub-account operations
(1) Create members. Log in to the sub-account platform and click “Members” – “Create Member”.
(2) Set sub-account information
Enter the new member’s name, phone number, login ID (i.e. user name), password and email. It should be noted that once the login ID Once set, it cannot be changed.
(3)Set member permissions. Select the role and click “Add Store.”
If there are no roles here that the seller wants, the seller can also click “Add New Role” and finally click “Save Member”.
(4) Assign a management store to the sub-account. In “Add Store”, check the user name of the store that the member needs to manage and confirm.
(5) Complete creation. After completing the creation of the sub-account, you can view the login ID and password of the sub-account, copy them and send them to relevant members. The mobile phone number will be verified when logging in to the sub-account for the first time.
(2) Change/delete sub-accounts
1. View sub-account information
Enter the sub-account platform and click “Members”. Sellers can view the information of all members. information, and filter members’ roles and status. There are three statuses: online, which represents the normal state; suspended, which means the permissions have been suspended; and invited, which means the invitation has been sent but the sub-account has not been activated.
2. Edit sub-account information
Click “Details” on the right side of the sub-account member whose information needs to be edited to edit the sub-account’s basic information, user name, login password and permissions , you can also delete members or modify member status.
Click “Edit Permissions” to switch member roles, or add or delete the stores that the member is responsible for. If it is a suggested role, the seller needs to change the permissions of a single store through “Add New Role” to change the member role.
