Promoting your products on the Ozon platform is an important way to increase visibility and sales. By following the steps below to set up and manage your promotions, you can effectively expose your products to more potential buyers and increase the profitability of your online sales business.
Step 1: Select the type of promotion.
First, log in to your Ozon seller account, then navigate to "Promote" and select the type of promotion you want to launch: Template, Search Results Promotion, or Brand Shelf, if applicable. This will help you choose the right promotion method based on your goals and product type.
Step 2: Enter your campaign information.
Enter a campaign name so that you can easily identify different campaigns.
For Templates and Brand Shelf, specify a maximum daily budget, usually no less than 500 rubles plus VAT. Please note that the final amount spent may be less than the set budget, but not more than it.
Enter the campaign end date. If you want the campaign to run indefinitely, you can leave this field blank.
Step 3: Add products to the campaign.
After creating the campaign, the next task is to add products to this campaign so that they can be promoted. Follow these steps:
Go to “Promotions” and select “Templates” or “Search Results Promotions”, click on the name of the created campaign.
Click on the “Add Products” button.
On the left, the products that can be added are listed, and on the right, the selected products are listed. Products can be selected based on the name of the product, the item number, the Ozon ID, or by using filters. If you want to filter products based on specific conditions, click on the filter and select parameters such as category, brand, price, warehouse, etc. Then click on “Apply”.
Products can also be added in list form based on item number or Ozon ID. Click on list mode, and then you can copy the list of products from the product report. To do this, go to “Products and Prices”, then click on “Product List”, select “Download Products”, and download the CSV file. Once you’re ready to make a list of the products you want by item number or Ozon ID, click "Add to selected."
When you’ve added all of your products, click "Add products to campaign."
Note: Some products cannot be promoted, including products containing nicotine, alcohol products, COVID-19 test strips, and prescription drugs.
Step 4: Turn off promotion.
If you need to turn off a promotion, you can follow these steps:
In "Promote", select the appropriate promotion type: Template, Search Results Promotion, or Brand Shelf.
You’ll see an Active badge in the status column next to the name of the active campaign.
