The CPC (average cost per click) for ads on Facebook mobile phones is only $0.35, but the CPC on Instagram is $0.70. The price of Instagram ads is affected by many factors, including but not limited to the following:
First, age. The age groups with the highest CPC are 18-24, 25-34, and 35-44. Instagram users are in the most valuable age group for marketing promotion.
Second, gender. Brands targeting women spend more money on Facebook advertising than men. Most industries agree that there are more female users on Instagram, which has led to increased competition and higher click costs.
Third, ad location. Instagram ads can be operated in the background of Facebook.
Fourth, other factors that affect cost, including country, interest targeting, advertising materials, etc.
