Opening the Twitter feed is like walking into a giant, noisy party, with a million conversations constantly exploding and exploding at the same time. With so much information, it’s hard to focus on any one topic. That’s why “lists” are a useful tool for organizing conversations that are truly relevant to your business. Lists are curated feeds from selected accounts that allow you to listen to relevant discussions or influential people. The list tool appears on the left side of Twitter.

Even though Twitter is a very effective marketing tool, not many brands use Twitter lists. In fact, using Twitter lists will greatly improve the efficiency of marketing work, including creating a planned group of Twitter accounts; subscribing to industry-related or marketing-related lists created by other brands, and viewing the tweet feeds of industry-related accounts on the timeline of the “peers” list at any time; helping users find the right followers; getting expert insights and news in a timely manner; the tweets in the list are arranged in chronological order, making it easy to track evolving issues and current events; easily grouping people and brands followed on Twitter, etc.

1. Create a list directly on Twitter

When creating a list directly on Twitter, the list can be set to be public (anyone can see it) or private (only you can see it). On your Twitter profile page, click the “Lists” item and then find the “Create” new list button.
