1. Source page and target page
In a link relationship, the page that stores the link is called the source page, and the page that is linked is called the target page. For example, if there is a link pointing to page B in page A, then page A is the source page, and page B is the target page.
2. Links and voting mechanism
In search engines, links reflect the trust relationship between pages. That is to say, if there is a link in a page pointing to another page, it means that the page trusts the linked page. In search engine optimization, the “voting mechanism” is used to express this trust relationship between pages. For example, if there is a link in page A pointing to page B, it means that page A trusts page B and therefore votes for it.
3. Link classification
Links are the most important factor in determining page weight. According to the object used by the link, it can be divided into “text link”, “image link” and “multimedia file link”; according to the direction of the link, it can be divided into “import link” and “export link”; and according to the scope of the link, it can be divided into “internal link” and “external link”.
4. Link Object
In a web page, the link object can be text, pictures and multimedia files. When the viewer clicks on the link object, the link target will be opened or run in the specified way.
