1) E-commerce between enterprises and consumers

E-commerce between enterprises and consumers, namely B2C (business to consumer) e-commerce, is similar to the sale of goods in online services. It is an advanced form of using computer networks to allow consumers to directly participate in economic activities. This form has developed rapidly with the popularization of the Internet, and now a large number of network business centers have been formed to provide various goods and services. In international trade, this transaction involves customs and foreign exchange issues.

2) E-commerce between enterprises

E-commerce between enterprises, namely B2B (business to business) e-commerce, includes e-commerce between specific enterprises and e-commerce between non-specific enterprises. E-commerce between specific enterprises refers to business transactions conducted by enterprises that have had trading relationships in the past or will continue to trade in the future, jointly designing, developing or comprehensively managing markets and inventories for the same economic interests. Enterprises can use the Internet to place orders with suppliers, receive invoices and make payments. E-commerce between non-specific enterprises refers to finding the best partner for each transaction in an open network, and conducting all transaction behaviors from ordering to settlement with the partner. Here, although it is a non-specific enterprise, since only enterprises that need these goods can join the network, it can be assumed that it is limited to enterprises in a certain industry. However, it is not based on continuous transactions, which is different from e-commerce between specific enterprises. B2B has a long history of operation in this regard and has been well applied, especially EDI running through dedicated networks or value-added networks.

3) E-commerce between enterprises and governments

E-commerce between enterprises and governments, namely B2G (business to government) e-commerce, covers all matters between enterprises and government organizations. Government procurement lists can be published on the Internet, and companies can respond electronically. Similarly, the government can also collect corporate taxes through electronic exchanges. In international trade, the relationship between enterprises and governments is prominent in the control of imports and exports.

Through the above three basic forms of e-commerce, several other forms can be derived, such as consumer to business (C2B), consumer to consumer (C2C), government to business (G2B), etc. The operation process of these forms is basically similar to B2C and B2B e-commerce.
