Alibaba cooperates with internationally renowned express delivery companies such as Fedex, DHL, UPS, TNT, EMS, and TOLL to provide door-to-door pickup services after customers complete online orders and payments. The freight is as low as 11%, and delivery takes an average of 3 working days in North America. It supports door-to-door pickup services in 36 cities across the country, and the routes cover more than 200 destination countries. Currently, the international express delivery service providers that support door-to-door pickup are UPS and FedEx.
Overview of the operation process of international express warehouse-to-door service:
Step 1: Log in to [MyAlibaba], and [Query Quotes and Arrange Delivery] in the [Trade Service] module
First, select [Express Delivery] in [Service Scope], and enter the postal code, destination, and shipment information of the place of shipment. If you have multiple packages of different specifications, please click the [Add Package] button.
Secondly, select the appropriate channel in the query result display and click the [Order] button.
Note:
a. International express warehouse-to-door services include: UPS, DHL, FedEx, TNT, EMS, TOLL;
b. FedEx provides two services: FedExIE (International Economic Express Service) and FedExIP (International Priority Express Service);
c. UPS provides two services: UPS Expedited (Global Express Service) and UPS Saver (Global Express Service);
d. The carrier of DHL Express-HK is Hong Kong DHL.
The second step is to create a logistics order, fill in the shipping information, and submit the logistics order.
First, fill in the product information: delivery to warehouse information, product information, and others.
1. Confirm the warehouse information and send the goods to the corresponding warehouse after placing the order.
2. Fill in the delivery to warehouse information: including the domestic express carrier, logistics waybill number, the number of express parcels, and the length, width, height and weight of the package.
Note:
If your order needs to be shipped in multiple packages and multiple logistics waybill numbers are generated, please click “+Add logistics waybill number” and be sure to fill in all logistics waybill numbers of the same order into the information.
3. Fill in the product information: including Chinese and English product descriptions, customs codes, number of products, and product status descriptions.
Note:
a. Batteries and products containing batteries cannot be shipped by Alibaba’s material trade platform international express;
b. Please pay attention to the requirements for product name description: the product name must be accurate, detailed and specific;
c. If the order contains multiple product names that need to be declared, please click the “+Add product” button to fill in the corresponding information;
d. Products or product packaging with ?, ? or obvious LOGO are branded goods, and brand authorization letters must be provided before they can be arranged for shipment. If the product brand authorization letter cannot be provided, it cannot be arranged for shipment.
4. Fill in the declaration information and continue to place the order.
Note:
a. Customs regulations require that express delivery goods with a declared value of more than USD600 must be formally declared as required; b. The sender has the obligation and responsibility to ensure that the product name and value provided through online delivery are consistent with the actual goods, and bear all losses caused by violating this principle.
Secondly, fill in the information of the consignee and consignor and confirm the budget price.
Confirm the budgeted cost details, check the user agreement, and submit the order. If there are any precautions, please note them in the “Remark Information”.
4. The order is submitted successfully.
The third step is to send the goods to the designated cooperative warehouse of Alibaba. Note:
a. You must bear the domestic logistics costs of shipping to the warehouse, and the warehouse does not accept any form of cash on delivery.
b. When the warehouse finds that the outer packaging is severely damaged and does not meet the delivery requirements when receiving the goods, it will directly refuse to accept or return the goods
C. When the warehouse receives the goods, it will weigh your goods and measure the packaging size.
d. The warehouse has the right to inspect the received goods and inspect them according to the system information. e. The weight and packaging size of the goods provided in this period are limited as follows:
1x length + 2x width + 2x height shall not exceed 330 cm; the maximum size of a single side is 270 cm.
f. FedEx, DHL, UPS, TNT, TOLL are charged by volume; EMS is charged by actual weight, but if a single side exceeds 60 cm, it must be charged by volume.
Step 4: After paying the corresponding fees, the warehouse arranges shipment.
1. The system calculates the international logistics fee based on the information fed back by the warehouse. Please click the “Pay” button of the order directly to pay, enter the payment page, and pay the international freight through Alipay or online banking.
2. After the system receives confirmation of successful payment, it will inform the warehouse to ship. The warehouse will arrange shipment according to your logistics instructions and feedback the shipment information. After the system receives the shipment information from the warehouse, the system will notify you by email.
