After understanding some of the features of the Wish platform, sellers can start to register a store. The registration process of the Wish platform mainly includes three stages: creating a store, completing information, and real-name authentication. The following is a detailed introduction.
1. Creating a store
When creating a store, sellers mainly fill in information and email verification.
(1) Fill in information
Sellers must first fill in the registered email, password, mobile phone number, and perform some verification and read the relevant agreements of the Wish platform. The seller’s registered email will be used as the user name for logging into the store later, so the seller must ensure the availability of the email.
(2) Email verification
The Wish platform will send a verification code to the seller’s registered email, and the seller needs to confirm the relevant information in the email received.
2. Complete information
When completing the information, sellers need to fill in the store name (in English), real name, office address, zip code and other information. It is worth noting that the seller’s store name cannot contain the word Wish and the store name cannot be changed once it is determined.
3. Real-name authentication
After the seller completes the information, it means that he has his own Wish platform store. However, if the seller wants to publish products, he must complete the real-name authentication as soon as possible. The authentication information will serve as the seller’s only proof of owning the store. During the real-name authentication stage, the seller needs to submit company information, legal representative information, ID card information and payment information.
(1) Company information
The company information that the seller needs to upload includes the company name, unified social credit code and a clear color photo of the business license.
(2) Legal representative information
The legal representative information mainly includes the legal person’s name and ID card number.
(3) ID card information
When verifying the ID card information, the seller needs to prepare a camera, the legal person’s ID card, a dark pen and an A4 paper. The camera can be a digital camera or a mobile phone with a camera pixel of more than 5 million (do not use the beauty function). Sellers should note that the entire authentication process must be completed within 15 minutes.
(4) Payment Information
Sellers also need to add the bank information of their company so that they can receive payment after selling goods on the Wish platform. The Wish platform has a variety of payment methods for sellers to choose from, including AllPay, PingPong, Liandongyoushi, Payoneer, and EasyPay. After the seller selects the payment method, he needs to fill in the recipient’s name, bank account and other information.
After completing the above registration steps, the seller can wait for the Wish platform to review. If the seller’s information is returned after review, then the information needs to be updated according to the review requirements to ensure that the account can be opened smoothly.
