Facebook Ads is a Faceboo advertising plan released by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in November 2007. Facebook Ads analyzes the relationships between people in social networks and accurately matches the promoted products with the interests and consumption behaviors of friends, thereby realizing the commercialization of friendships. Facebook Ads has gradually become an important media for social network marketing. Next, let’s follow the steps to create ads step by step.

Paid advertising marketing requires the use of advertising management tools or Power Editor to create and edit ads, and also requires setting up advertising accounts to add payment methods. Let’s first learn how to add payment methods:

Click the “small triangle” logo in the upper right corner, select “Settings”, and then click “Pay”.

Click “Ad Bill”, enter the bill page, and then click “Edit Payment Method” to edit the payment method.

The bound account can be a credit card.

Add a credit card as the main payment method for Facebook ads: click “Edit Payment Method”, add a payment method, select a credit card, and then enter the credit card number and other information according to the prompts.

Facebook’s advertising structure is divided into three levels: campaigns, ad groups, and ads.

Campaigns: When creating an ad, you first need to select a goal, which is the purpose you want to achieve through advertising. For example, attract more users to visit your website or install your app. After selecting a goal, you will create an ad campaign, which is the first level of the ad structure. One campaign can create multiple ad groups.

Ad groups: When creating an ad, you need to define the audience and select the placement of the ad, as well as the ad budget and schedule. These all belong to the “ad group” level. The ad group should reflect the specific part of the audience you want to reach. These audiences can be selected by age, gender, region, or interest.

Ads: Multiple ads can be included in an ad group. Here you can determine the presentation of the ad by taking photos, writing copy, adding links, etc.

Through the campaign structure, you can manage and optimize ads to achieve the best results. For example, you can see at the ad group level which audiences the ad has the best response from, and transfer the budget to the audience with higher response. In addition, with the ability to run multiple ads, you can test different photos, ad copy, and more to see which ads perform better for specific audiences.
