Google URLShortener is a URL shortening service tool launched by Google in 2009. In addition to shortening URLs, it also provides some additional services like Bitly, such as OR Code (QR code) of short URLs and traffic analysis of short links.
How to use?
Go to the Google URL Shortener page (URL: https://goo.gl/), enter the long URL and click the “Shorten” button to get the shortened URL on the right.
Below the generated short link, users can directly view the click status of the short link. If you want to get more statistical data, you can click the “Details” button on the right to enter the specific data page. On the statistics page, Google URL Shortener shows users data in four aspects: Referrers (visitors’ visit source), Browser (browsing method), Countries (country), and Platforms.
