There are several options in “Domestic shipping”, among which Flat: same cost to all buyers means setting a fixed shipping fee for each item; Calculated: Cost varies by buyer location means setting different logistics fees for buyers in different regions; Freight: large itemsover 150 Ibs means setting shipping fees for large items over 150 pounds; No shipping: Local pickup only means no shipping fees for local face-to-face transactions.
The shipping fee should match the location of the item. Shipping fees that do not meet the regulations may cause unnecessary disputes and affect the store’s rating. In the checkbox under “Services”, you can set specific shipping services, including Economy Services, Standard Services, and Expedited Services. The difference between these three types of services is the different logistics time.
In the text box under “Cost”, you can fill in the shipping fee of the item. If the seller bears the shipping fee, you can check “Free shipping” to set the item as free shipping. Sellers can also click “Offer additional service” to add more shipping service options to the product page, and provide logistics services without free shipping for buyers who are willing to use faster logistics. If not needed, click “Remove service” to cancel.
Here we focus on the setting of “Handing time”. Handling time refers to the time from receiving the buyer’s payment to the seller getting the scanning information after shipping. Generally, it can be set to Same business day, 1 business day, 3 business days, 5 business days, and up to 30 business days. The handling time only counts working days, and weekends and holidays are not included in the handling time. For items that are in stock in the warehouse, a shorter handling time can be set to attract buyers to place orders, and the buyers’ shopping experience is high. When sellers consider the actual situation of their own shipments, they set their own handling time, which is equivalent to a delivery time commitment made to buyers. The commitment corresponds to the buyer’s expectations. Please make sure that this commitment can be fulfilled and use it to maintain the store image.
The domestic logistics settings are now complete. If the seller provides international shipping, they also need to set the international shipping details except the United States in the “International shipping” area, and select the freight charging method in the check box under “International shipping”. “Ship to” is to select the destination to be sent. It is recommended to select “Choose custom location” to customize the destination, because some countries cannot be delivered by logistics. Sellers need to choose the “Worldwide” option carefully. Finally, select the specific logistics service under “Services” and set the freight rate.
