(1) Transaction without sale and false shipment
Transaction without sale refers to the situation where the seller fails to ship the goods according to the order after the buyer has paid, or the seller cancels the order due to the seller’s fault. There are two types: ① After the buyer has paid, the seller delays the shipment, resulting in the order being closed; ② The buyer applies to cancel the order before shipment, and the buyer selects that it is due to the seller’s fault. If the transaction without sale is completed, the product will be removed from the shelves. If the number and proportion of transactions without sale in a certain period of time reach a certain number, the platform will give the store a lower search ranking to varying degrees; if the situation is serious, the store will be blocked; if the situation is particularly serious, the account will be frozen or directly closed.
Some people want to avoid the “transaction without sale” rule and fill in an invalid waybill number, or although the waybill number is valid, it has nothing to do with the order transaction details, which constitutes false shipment. If the transfer number or waybill number is filled in incorrectly, it should be updated in time within the waybill number modification time range. Low-value goods cannot be shipped individually, so it is recommended to set it to package sales.
(2) Non-identical goods and breach of promises
Serious non-identical goods: refers to the fact that the goods received by the buyer do not match the description or promise of the goods made by the seller when the transaction was concluded in terms of category, parameters, materials, specifications, etc.
Serious “non-identical goods” behaviors include but are not limited to the following situations:
·Sending empty packages to buyers.
·The ordered product is an electronic storage device, and the product capacity is seriously inconsistent with the product description or promise.
·The ordered product is computer hardware, and the product configuration is seriously inconsistent with the product description or promise.
·The ordered product and the shipped product are not of the same type and have a huge difference in value.
Breach of promise: refers to the seller’s failure to provide services to the buyer as promised, which damages the buyer’s legitimate rights and interests, including transaction and after-sales service commitments, logistics-related commitments, violation of the platform’s established rules or requirements, and the seller’s violation of other promises made by itself. It has a serious impact on the buyer’s shopping experience. Once the buyer files such a complaint, the seller will be given a warning, a 7-day account freeze, or a permanent store closure depending on the severity of the case.
“Breach of promise” cases
Case 1: The buyer placed an order for a product priced at $2.5. After the payment was successful, the seller left a message asking the buyer to purchase at least $10 before shipping.
Case 2: When the buyer placed an order, the default shipping method was DHL, but in the actual shipment, the seller chose small packages to save shipping costs.
Case 3: When the buyer placed an order, it was shown that the shipping was free. Before shipping, the seller left a message to the buyer saying that the shipping cost was set incorrectly and the buyer had to pay the shipping cost before shipping.
Case 4: After receiving the goods, the buyer found that there was a problem and needed to return or exchange the goods. The seller had left a message agreeing to pay the return shipping cost, but in fact did not pay.
(3) Unfair competition and illegal profit Unfair competition includes the following two behaviors.
· Improper use of others’ rights: ① The seller improperly uses others’ store names or domain names in the product information published or the store names, domain names, etc. used; ② The product information published by the seller or other information used causes consumers to misunderstand or confuse.
· Sellers who maliciously place orders, make malicious comments, or make malicious complaints against other sellers through their own or other member accounts will affect the reputation and normal operation of other sellers.
