①Address change. Each time the recipient’s address is changed, an additional RMB 73 will be charged for each package, with a maximum charge of RMB 280 per shipment. If the address is incorrect or the address is a PO box and cannot be delivered, this fee shall be paid by the sender.
②Residential address delivery surcharge. UPS provides services to deliver shipments to residential addresses and business office addresses. Residential addresses include private residences and non-public office places. Delivery to such addresses will be charged an additional RMB 20 per shipment. For shipments transported using UPS Global Express Freight Service, an additional RMB 705 will be charged per shipment.
③Remote area surcharge. UPS provides pickup and delivery services for urban and remote areas. Additional fees will be charged for pickup and delivery services in remote areas. The charge standard is RMB 3.50 per kilogram of shipment, or a minimum charge of RMB 167 per shipment. The larger of the two shall be the charging standard. ④ Surcharge beyond the remote area range. UPS will charge additional fees for shipments delivered beyond the remote area range. Such areas are relatively difficult to pick up and deliver. The charge standard is RMB 4.00 per kilogram of shipment, or a minimum charge of RMB 190 per shipment. The larger of the two shall be the charge standard
⑤ Additional handling fee. If the following situations occur, an additional handling fee of RMB 40 shall be added to each piece
Any package containing pure ion batteries or battery cells (UN3480, PI965 Section II)
Any items shipped in metal or wooden non-UPS packaging materials.
Any cylindrical items that cannot be completely packed into a normal packaging box, such as barrels, drums, cylinders or tires.
Any package with the longest edge exceeding 122cm or the second longest edge exceeding 76cm.
Packages with actual weight greater than 32kg.
The weight of each package is not specified in the UPS transportation system and the average weight of a single package is greater than 32kg (70 pounds) (excluding UPS Global Express Freight Service).
⑥Additional handling fee for pallets exceeding the limited size. If the volume weight of the shipment transported by UPS Global Express Freight Service exceeds the maximum size and limited weight specified on “ups.com/palletmaximums” (depending on the origin and destination), an additional RMB 321 will be charged for each pallet.
