How can individual sellers on AliExpress efficiently upgrade to enterprise sellers?
On March 20, 2016, the AliExpress platform announced that from the beginning of April, all new merchants must settle in as enterprises (excluding individual industrial and commercial households), and required existing individual merchants to register by August 2016 at the latest. Complete corporate identity authentication before the 15th. This policy adjustment directly affects many individual sellers like Wang Gang. They must complete the identity conversion of their stores within the specified time, otherwise the platform will take measures to remove their online products, cancel their category business permissions, and refund in full the 2016 annual technical service fee.
Required information
In order to successfully upgrade to a enterprise seller, individual sellers need to prepare the following information:
- Four enterprise certificates: business license, tax registration certificate, organization code certificate and bank account opening certificate;
- ID card of the legal representative of the enterprise (front and back);
- Enterprise Alipay account (must be consistent with business license information);
- Notarization (if not submitted, a 30-day public notice period will be required).
All submitted materials must be color scans or digital photos of the originals, and the file size must not exceed 2MB. Ensure that the information is clear, without watermarks and has not been processed in any way.
Operation process
-
Log in to the backend: First, use the original AliExpress main account to log in to “My Backend”, select the “Account and Certification Center – Account Settings” page, and click the “Upgrade Enterprise Certification” button.
-
Fill in the information: Enter the original personal authentication information (including Alipay account number, certifier name and ID number) in sequence and sign the relevant agreement; then fill in the corporate Alipay account number to ensure that the account does not exceed the bound limit Limit of 6 AliExpress accounts.
-
Submit company information: Enter company-related information (such as business license, etc.) according to the page prompts, and upload all required documents (such as tax registration certificate, bank account opening certificate, front and back of legal person ID card, notarial certificate etc.), make sure the uploaded pictures meet the requirements.
-
Notarial deed certification: Choosing the notarial deed certification method can effectively shorten the review cycle and avoid the 30-day publicity period. The main contents of the notarial certificate should cover:
- Information of both parties (i.e. the seller’s company and the original certified natural person);
- Confirm that the AliExpress account and its bound international Alipay account registration information have been transferred from the original natural person to the name of the seller’s company.
-
Audit and waiting: Finally, upload the electronic version of the notarial certificate to the system. Normally, the review can be completed within 3 working days.
Through the above steps, individual sellers can successfully complete the transition to corporate status and continue to conduct business on the AliExpress platform.
