Sellers have been “begging” for good reviews and staying away from bad reviews. When sellers feel that their products are good and their services are good, buyers leave a few bad reviews, which causes other buyers to waver in their determination to place orders after seeing these bad reviews. So, how should sellers deal with bad reviews?

First find the bad review orders

(1) Find the Reviewer Profile ID

There are two main ways to find the Reviewer Profile ID.

Method 1 is as follows.

①Find the review of the buyer’s order and click the name of the buyer who left the review.

②After entering the buyer’s homepage, right-click the mouse and select “Inspect” to display the interface. (When sellers search for Reviewer profile IDs, try to use Google Chrome. Firefox cannot be used. You can try other browsers by right-clicking and then clicking “Review element” as long as there is an option to review elements.)

③In the search box below, enter “Default” and press “Enter”. The string of characters after “Default” is the buyer’s Profile ID.

Method 2 is as follows.

①Same as the steps in method 1. First find the review of the buyer’s order, click the name of the buyer who left the review, enter the buyer’s homepage, click the name of the buyer in any comment, right-click the mouse, and select “Copy link address”.

②Paste the link into the document. The buyer’s Profile ID will be followed by “Profile”.

However, the second method may sometimes fail. It is recommended to use the first method.

(2) Find the buyer’s order in the backend through the Profile ID

①Open the seller backend and enter the “Order”–“Manage Order” interface

②In the “Manage Order” interface, use the ASIN of the product purchased by the buyer

It is best to set a longer time. After filling it out, you can start searching.

③ Set at the bottom of the order, set the number of results per page to “100”, so that the search speed will be much faster.

④ Right-click on the order interface, select “Review Elements” or “Inspect”, and then press “Ctr1+F” to open the search box, paste the Profile ID found before, and you can find it. If the number of orders is too large, you need to open the next page and repeat the above steps to find it.

2. Find out why the buyer left a bad review

Check the content of the buyer’s comments and analyze the reasons for the bad reviews. Some comments are incisive, and some are ambiguous. The seller needs to analyze the content of the comments in detail, and then prescribe the right medicine after analyzing the reasons. If the buyer leaves a bad review because he does not know how to use the product, the seller will send the buyer a product manual, or directly guide the buyer on how to use the product. If the buyer leaves a bad review because of the quality of the product, the seller will provide after-sales repair services or give certain compensation.
