CPC (Cost Per Click) is also known as pay-per-click. It is a form of on-site promotion that Amazon sellers need to master. It allows products to get more exposure and views by placing advertisements to the target audience. Under the premise that the product meets the needs of buyers, the description is clear and the pictures are attractive enough, it helps to create and form “hot products”. Especially for products with less competition, high prices and high profits, CPC should be given priority. At present, the minimum starting price for the US site is US$0.02, and the minimum increase for each time is US$0.01. The minimum starting price for the UK site is GBP0.02, and the minimum increase for each time is GBP0.01.

The basic requirements for CPC placement are as follows.

(1) The promoted product must have a gold shopping cart. Products that do not have a gold shopping cart will not have the opportunity to apply for pay-per-click advertising activities.

(2) Sellers must be professional sellers. Individual sellers must upgrade to professional sellers in the background before they can place CPC.

(3) Carefully select and set bidding keywords, and be careful not to add competitor brand words. For example, if you sell clothes, you cannot set Chanel clothes to Hermès or Giorgio Armani. In other words, you must be realistic and not infringe on copyright.

(4) Do not set keywords that are completely unrelated to the product for the sake of exposure. For example, if you sell clothes, you set keywords such as Computer, Shoes or Mobile Phone. This is not allowed.
