Facebook ads are very complex and professional, so if you have never used Facebook ads before, you must read this section carefully, otherwise you will not understand the content of creating ads later.

Facebook ads are composed of 3 levels:

(1) The first level: Ad Campaign.

(2) The second level: Ad Set.

(3) The third level: Ad.

These 3 levels are layered, that is, an ad campaign can contain N ad sets, and an ad set can contain N ads.

The functions of these 3 levels are completely different.

The ad campaign is the basis of Facebook ads. After clicking the “Create” button, the first thing you create is the ad campaign. You need to and can only select the ad goal (such as homepage likes) at the ad campaign level. For example, if your goal in running Facebook ads is to promote the Faeboo public page you created, then after selecting the daily advertising target of the homepage fee, the Febook advertising system algorithm will optimize the ads to achieve the advertising goal of attracting more homepage likes for your Faeboo public page.

Ad groups are used to specify how ads are delivered, and the second-level advertising goals, as well as your advertising audience, advertising budget, and advertising scheduling parameters can only be set at the ad group level. The advertising audience refers to the group of people to whom the ads are delivered. You can use the options and keywords provided by the Facebook system to target the countries and regions where the ads are delivered, the gender, age, and interests of the audience, etc. The advertising budget refers to how much money the ads will cost, in simple terms, how much advertising fees you expect to spend overall or per day. The advertising schedule refers to when you plan to deliver your ads. There are some other settings that will be explained in detail later.

Ads are the content that Facebook audiences actually see, which is often called advertising creatives. Only at the advertising level can you submit or create advertising creatives. Advertising creatives can be in the form of videos, pictures, text, etc. There are some other settings that will be explained in detail later.
