We know that there are many benefits of shipping through FBA. It is a good way to promote new products, increase sales, and grab the golden shopping cart, so many Amazon sellers will choose to ship through FBA. For novices, when they first start to operate FBA, they will encounter some problems due to lack of experience. Therefore, the following specifically explains how to convert the shipping method of goods to FBA step by step.
1. Enter “Manage Amazon Inventory”
Log in to the seller’s backend and click “Manage Amazon Inventory” in the “INVENTORY” tab to enter the inventory management interface.
2. Convert the delivery method to “Amazon Fulfillment”
On the inventory management page, sellers can find products to be converted to FBA delivery by searching SKU, title, ISBN, etc.
3. Select “Convert and Send Inventory”
After selecting the products to be shipped to FBA, you will jump to the page and click “Convert and Send Inventory” to confirm the conversion to FBA delivery (the following content takes the conversion of the delivery method of a single product to FBA as an example).
4. Seller information verification
5. Shangjing packaging size
“All Products” will show that it is selected as FBA Product information for shipment. If the seller needs to add new products, click “Add Products”. If you need to delete, click the “×” behind each product to delete. Here, you need to enter the product packaging size. The manufacturer’s original product packaging size (inches) needs to be provided. For example, if the seller sells cups, the cups are packaged. You need to enter the product packaging size (length, width, height) and quantity, and then click “Save”.
Click “Continue” below to proceed to the next step “Prepare Products”.
6. Prepare Products
In this step, you will also browse the information set by the seller before. After confirming that there is no problem, click “Continue” to proceed to the next step.
7. Label the Products
The “Label Products” page is a critical step, because every product introduced by FBA must be labeled. Set the number and size of labels to be printed here.
Under normal circumstances, Amazon uses A4 paper for printing by default, and sellers can purchase A4-sized self-adhesive paper for printing. Generally, the number of labels printed on each A4 paper is 21~44 Sellers can choose the corresponding specifications for printing according to the size of the product packaging. After the selection is completed, click “Print this page label” to print. After printing, stick the labels one by one on the product or the outer packaging of the product. Then click “Continue” to proceed to the next step.
In order to allow the product to enter the warehouse smoothly, the seller needs to stick each label on the product or product packaging, and be careful not to stick it wrong.
8. Check the shipment
In this link, check the shipment’s origin, packaging type, included goods, product preparation fees and other information. On this page, Amazon will also have a prompt: “The inventory you send to Amazon may be divided into multiple shipments based on the seller’s SKU. We will assign an operation center to each shipment based on a variety of factors, including the size of the product and the classification of your address and other factors. “That is to say, the products created by the seller may be divided into warehouses, or they may all be sent to one FBA warehouse. In short, it is automatically assigned by the Amazon system. If the seller does not want to divide the warehouses, he can set up warehouse consolidation in the background in advance (combining warehouses requires additional fees). After confirming that the information is correct, the seller can see the “destination”, which is the address of the FBA warehouse.
If there is no problem with the inspection, continue to click “Process the shipment”. After confirmation, click “Confirm the shipment”.
9. Prepare the shipment
10. Enter the logistics order number
The last step is to enter the shipping order number. After completing the above steps, the packing is completed, and the goods are handed over to the freight company and sent to the FBA warehouse. The seller needs to enter the shipping order number in “At a Glance”.
Under normal circumstances, the actual weight of each outer box cannot exceed 50 pounds. If overweight, it is necessary to mark the outside of each outer box with an “overweight” mark. The overweight label mainly serves as a reminder. If there is no special requirement, it can be printed on A4 paper.
