Electronica

The Electronica International Fair (Electronica) has been held every two years since 1964 and has become the most influential exhibition in the field of electronic components in the world. Exhibits include conventional semiconductors, embedded systems, sensors, micro-electromechanical systems, relays, switches and connector technologies, motor/system peripherals, cables, microwave technology, display technology, power supplies, automotive electronics and testing, wireless technology, information collection and services, etc.

According to the statistics of the organizer, in 2018, Electronica had a total of 3,124 companies from 53 countries and regions participating in the exhibition, of which 70% were international exhibitors; 17 exhibition halls were used, with an exhibition area of 182,000 square meters; and 81,000 professional visitors from 101 countries and regions came to visit, of which 50% came from outside Germany. The top five visitors came from China, France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Israel. The exhibit categories that visitors are most interested in are semiconductors, passive components, sensors, automotive, embedded systems and power supplies.
