Inquiry, also known as price inquiry, refers to the inquiry about the conditions and the request for the other party to make an offer in order to buy or sell a certain commodity.

In the actual business of international trade, the buyer (importer) usually takes the initiative to contact the seller to inquire about the transaction conditions of the export goods. Generally speaking, the buyer will ask about the price, specifications, quantity, payment terms, packaging, transportation, etc., and ask for price lists (Catalogues), samples and other materials.

Alibaba International Station Inquiries refer to feedback or inquiries sent by domestic and foreign buyers through Alibaba International Station to the published products or company information. The inquiry location is “My Alibaba” → “Opportunities & Customer Center” → “Inquiries”. Suppliers can view all inquiries received by their accounts (Note: You can view all inquiries from your own and subordinate sub-accounts by logging in with an administrative account, and you can view inquiries from yourself and your subordinate salesmen by logging in with a business manager account. Salesmen and producers can only view inquiries from their own three accounts). You can also select “Opportunities & Customer Center” → “Inquiries” in the Qianniu workbench. You can also click the “Unread Inquiries” shortcut key in the Aliwang International Edition (TradeManager) to directly enter the Business Opportunity Management Center.

The Chinese and English versions of the Business Opportunity Management Center for surveyed sellers are consistent. We You can refer to the Chinese version to understand the English version. The new version of “Business Opportunities & Customer Center” is divided into the following 6 modules, and the corresponding positions are shown in Figure 5.2.

Module 1: All inquiry statuses are updated to all, pending reply, new inquiry, ordered, pending payment, pending confirmation. You can filter through external navigation to quickly locate inquiries with similar status.

Module 2: The operation bar of the inquiry, including assign to, move to, delete, add junk inquiries, and more (including setting pennants, marking as read, marking as unread, adding customers and translation).

Module 3: Display other sources of inquiries.

Recommend Quotation: Business opportunities recommended by the system.

Module 4: Inquiry number, quickly locate a certain inquiry.

Module 5: “Order Management” option on the left menu.

Module 6: “Tagged” filter option, directly filter out an inquiry with a white tag added.
