In cross-border e-commerce operations, order processing is a key link. Sometimes, sellers may need to split or merge shipped orders to meet customer needs or optimize logistics management. Today, we will introduce in detail how to split and merge shipped orders in the Dianxiaomi system.
Q1: How to split shipped orders?
Split orders means to divide an order that has been shipped or virtually shipped into multiple packages according to customer requirements for shipment. The following are the steps to split orders:
Cannot be returned to pending for splitting: Orders that have been virtually shipped or actually shipped cannot be directly returned to pending for splitting.
Partially ship first: If you want to split an order into multiple packages for shipment, the seller can first pack a part of the goods, use the order number that the seller has applied for, print the shipping label, and ship it.
Generate a manual order to resend the package: Next, the seller needs to select [Exception Handling] on the order details page, and then click [Resend Package]. The system will generate an identical manual order to enter the pending review/pending status. In the reissued package, select the offline logistics channel and apply for a new waybill number, pack the remaining goods, print the waybill with the new waybill number and ship it.
Reissued packages can only use offline logistics channels.
The waybill number of the reissued package cannot be submitted to the platform. The seller needs to contact the buyer in time to inform the situation to avoid disputes.
Q2: How to merge shipped orders?
Merging orders means merging two or more shipped orders into one order to simplify the logistics process or provide better customer service. Here are the steps to merge orders:
Copy the waybill number: First, the seller needs to copy the waybill number from one of the orders.
Change the waybill number: Next, in the details page of another order, find [Logistics Information] and click [Change Waybill Number]. Paste the previously copied waybill number into the waybill number column, save and submit the platform.
For Wish orders, due to the policy requirements of the Wish platform, order merging is not supported.
Through the above steps, sellers can easily handle the splitting and merging of shipped orders in the Dianxiaomi system, improve order processing efficiency, and provide customers with a better service experience.
