Products that can be accepted through Taiwan’s special goods channel include: sex toys, glasses, speakers, watches, communication equipment, electrical products (including rechargeable appliances), cosmetics (in tablets, powders), health products, and tea (store delivery cannot exceed 5kg per order, and home delivery cannot exceed 20kg).

Otherwise, if the product that should be a special product is sent as a general product, the entire batch of packages may be detained by customs, and the consequences will be borne by the seller.

The following products are prohibited from sale in Taiwan’s special channels:

(1) flammable products such as power banks and pure lithium batteries;

(2) pure liquid products such as perfume, hair spray, nail polish, essential oils, contact lenses, etc. (other products such as creams and facial masks do not need to be removed from the shelves for the time being);

(3) microphones, Bluetooth speakers, balance bikes, and products with non-removable batteries that can easily be touched to cause light, heat, or sound;

(4) Prohibited goods: Due to the clear provisions of laws and regulations in Taiwan and mainland China, some products are subject to customs control and are strictly prohibited from being put on the shelves, including: medical devices, toy guns, toy crossbows, brass knives, knives, radio products, meat products, animals and plants, etc.
