Currently, Zalora does not have a recruitment team in mainland China. It only has a site in Hong Kong, where a recruitment manager assists in handling settlement matters. Sellers can log in to the Zalora website and click “Become a Seller” at the bottom.

Then fill in the registration information (name, address and contact number) online. After the information is filled in, Zalora will reply to the seller’s email within 7 days and agree on the time and place for the two parties to meet. When the two parties meet, the seller needs to bring samples to the site, and the seller and Zalora will discuss matters such as profit margins and settlement.

Regarding settlement matters and terms, the two parties may need to discuss several times, and this process will last for several weeks. If the two parties reach a cooperation intention, Zalora will require the seller to store some of the products at their headquarters. For example, for clothing products, Zalora will hire models to display the seller’s products and take photos of the products. The model fee is borne by the Zalora platform. After that, the seller can upload photos and product descriptions on the website, and Zalora will send the seller an email at the beginning of each month for the sales performance report of the previous month. Both parties have no objection to the sales performance report, and Zalora pays the seller through the bank account.
