Understanding Amazon inventory alerts can help you manage your inventory without having to constantly monitor every item. You can set the number of alerts for a single item or a group of items. When the available quantity of a product reaches the threshold you set, an Amazon inventory alert email will be sent to notify you. The threshold can be specified by the number of items available for sale or the number of weeks, which is based on the sales in the past 30 days and the number of weeks available for sale in the available inventory. So how do you set up Amazon inventory alerts?

1. The role of Amazon inventory alert settings

When selecting the reminder quantity for a specified product, select the quantity based on the average sales volume and order time, and deliver the inventory to the fulfillment center. For example, if it takes two weeks to order and deliver the goods, and you sell about 100 items in a week, it is recommended that you set the reminder quantity to at least 300. When the available inventory of the product in the fulfillment center reaches 300 pieces, we will notify you. In this way, you have three weeks to place an order with the supplier and deliver the goods to the Amazon fulfillment center before your inventory is sold out.

2. Amazon inventory alert operation

Click the [Inventory] tab at the top of the Seller Platform page, and then click [Manage Amazon Inventory]. On the Amazon inventory page, select the product for which you want to set a replenishment reminder. From the drop-down menu that applies to the selected item, select Set replenishment reminder, and then click Start. On the [Set inventory replenishment reminder] page, enter the threshold in the [Reminder threshold] field. You can set a threshold for each product separately, when the number of maintainable weeks reaches (how many weeks) or the number of salable products reaches (how many pieces), and then enter a value in the cell. You can also use replenishment reminders to identify products on the Amazon inventory page. If the [Available quantity] column next to the quantity displays a golden bell, it means that a replenishment reminder has been set for the product. When the inventory quantity reaches the replenishment reminder quantity, it will turn red.

The above is the editor’s summary of how to set up Amazon inventory reminders, I hope it will be helpful to you.
