What is Prime Day

Prime Day is an annual promotion launched by Amazon exclusively for Prime members. A two-day discount can save you thousands of dollars on various products.

How to prepare for Prime Day?

First, make sure you are an Amazon Prime member. You can try it for free for 30 days here, then your membership is $12.99 per month, or $119 per year. In addition to the two days given away for free, you get access to PrimeVideo with no ads, music streaming, unlimited picture storage, and unlimited reading. Many of Prime Hour’s best deals, including Lightning Deals (which we’ll discuss later) are only available to Prime members.

If your membership is cancelled, you should also take some time to confirm whether your payment method (including one-click settings and default sending) is updated so that you can lock in the required transactions in time.

You can also purchase a Prime Day $10 credit to select small businesses.

Amazon has finally launched a new “Watch This Deal” button that allows users to set up reminders to be alerted when a specific item goes on sale. This button only works on Amazon’s mobile app, so you’ll want to make sure you browse through all the items you want to buy on sale during Prime Day to make sure you don’t miss them.

While Amazon hasn’t officially announced the most specific deals yet, we’ve seen savings on everything from electronics to major appliances to household items in the last year.

How to find the best prime time?

You need to add a bookmark to Amazon’s deals page and display all the items on sale there. Be sure to prepare early for the big day; Prime Day deals are known to sell out quickly, and there’s a good chance new deals will be baked into the overall sale.

You can also find Amazon’s famous Lightning Deals on the page above.

Also, don’t forget: Amazon Prime Day isn’t the only big sale worth paying attention to. Other major retailers, including Walmart and Target, are also likely to host large competitive sales events of their own.
