This section details how to register a Shopify standalone account.

First of all, make sure to only use the local IP address to open the Shopify official website when registering.

This book takes the global official website as an example. After entering the official website, enter your registered email address and click the “Start free trial” button.

A pop-up window will open at this time, and you need to enter the content in sequence as required. As mentioned before, it is best to use Gmail. It should be reminded that before entering the password, you should pay attention to whether the caps lock is turned on on the keyboard. You can choose any store name when registering an account, as long as it is simple and easy to remember. If the store name is not available, the system will prompt you with small red text below the “Your store name” text box.

First explain, the store name displayed to website visitors after the Shopify independent station goes online is a different store name, which has nothing to do with the store name entered here. It should be reminded that during the registration process, it is recommended to record important information such as passwords and store names separately to prevent forgetting it in a few days. After registering a Shopify independent station account, these information can be modified. After filling in the relevant information, click the “Create your store’ button.

Wait for a few seconds for the system to respond and you will see the page. You will need to answer each question Make your selections. My suggestion is to choose truthfully. If you don’t want Shopify officials to know your actual situation, you can choose any of the existing answers.

(1) Are you already selling? This is. Ask if you are already selling products or where you are selling them.

(2) What is your current revenue? This is asking what your current income (sales revenue) is.

(3) Which industry will you be operating in? This is asking what categories of products you plan to sell through the Shopify independent station.

If you are registering a Shopify independent station account for yourself, then do not check it. “Yes, I’m designing developing a store for a client” check box. Click the “Next” button after all options are selected.

You need to fill in the basic information and let the Shopify system decide which country’s laws and tax systems will apply to your independent Shopify station, as well as which payment tools are supported by the independent station. In this page, you also need to fill in the real information. After filling in this information, click the “Enter my store” button. Then, I logged into the backend of the Shopify independent station (referred to as the Shopify backend).

Find the URL of the Shopify backend in the browser’s address bar, and save this URL to the browser’s bookmark bar so that you can log in to the Shopify backend directly through the browser’s bookmark bar.

Open your registered email and find two official emails from Shopify. The title of the first email starts with “Say hello to”. In the body of this email, there will be the Shopify independent station URL you just registered and the login link to the management backend.

The title of the second email address starts with “Confirm your email adres”. Please note that you need to click the “Confrm email” button in the email to complete the email verification so that Ensure the security of your Shopifty independent station account.

After all the above operations are completed, your Shopify independent station will be registered.
