FBA can provide sellers with a series of logistics services including warehousing, picking and packaging, delivery, payment collection, customer service and returns processing.
FBA’s service process mainly includes five processes.
Step 1, the seller sends the goods to Amazon. Amazon stores the seller’s goods. The seller sends new or second-hand goods to the Amazon fulfillment center. The seller uploads the product information to the seller platform; Amazon distributes the seller’s entire inventory. or partial inventory; print PDF labels provided by Amazon or use Amazon’s Fulfillment Labeling Service; use Amazon’s discounted shipping or choose your own carrier. Amazon registers the seller’s products and stores them in Amazon’s ready-to-ship inventory.
Step 2, Amazon receives and scans the seller’s inventory; Amazon records the dimensions of the items for storage; the seller monitors the inventory through Amazon’s integrated tracking system; Amazon fulfills orders placed directly on Amazon. Or based on a shipping request submitted by the seller for a non-Amazon sales transaction.
Step 3. Buyers who purchase products from sellers are eligible for free shipping services, so the products will be sorted by price excluding shipping costs; Amazon Prime members can upgrade shipping options for eligible Amazon logistics products .
Step 4 Amazon Picks and Packs Products Amazon Logistics picks sellers’ products from inventory and packages them for delivery: Amazon utilizes an advanced website-to-warehouse high-speed sorting and sorting system Locate the seller’s products; buyers can combine the order with other products fulfilled by Amazon, which will make it more convenient for buyers to purchase and receive the goods.
