In order to facilitate sellers’ product management, after the product upload is completed, the product information can be modified through the seller center.
1. Single product editing
After the product upload is completed, if you need to modify the product attributes, you can modify it by editing individual product information. The specific steps are as follows.
Enter “My Products” and click “Edit” to manage individual product information. Sellers can modify product name, product description, pictures and other information.
At the same time, you can adjust the display order of pictures by dragging on the “Productimages” interface.
After making changes and editing, scroll down to the bottom of the interface and click “Update” in the lower left corner.
Click “Cancel” to cancel without saving the changes; click “Delist” to remove the product.
After the product information is successfully changed, “You have successfully edited a product” will pop up on the homepage (prompting that you have successfully edited a product).
If you need to delete a product, enter the “My Products” interface, check the product to be deleted, and click “Delete”.
2. Multiple (batch) product editing
(1) Multiple (batch) product editing steps
When there are multiple products that need to be modified Multiple (batch) product editing operations can be used when describing attributes such as description, category, logistics, inventory, price, and inventory.
(1) Enter the “My Products” interface, click “Batch Actions”, select “Edit Existing Products”, and select the modified content in the pop-up interface , including basic product information, product classification and attributes, SKU information, logistics information, individual product information, etc.
(2) Click “Download” to download the batch product information update form.
(3) Modify the information that needs to be updated in the form and save it. Note that only the green part can be modified, and the rest of the information cannot be modified by batch editing product information.
(4) After the modification of the above table is completed, save it in the computer, and then click “Select File” to return the batch modification file.
(5) Download the result file and check whether the batch editing is successful in the Excel file.
(2) Common reasons for batch editing product failure
1. Wrong price format
Common errors mainly include: non-numeric format, numerical value is not specified range, with more than 3 decimal places, etc. You need to recheck the cell information and enter the value within two decimal places.
2. Wrong inventory format
Common errors are mainly non-numeric formats or values outside the specified range. Check the cell information and enter the correct inventory (non-negative number).
3. Edit the prices of discounted products
If there are products with discounts going on or discounts are about to start, please delete the discounts and then update them, or wait for the discounts. Product information can only be edited after finishing.
