In Amazon’s seller management system, there are two independent but mutually influencing evaluation systems: Feedback and Review. Although the two are different scoring systems, they are both of great significance to sellers.
1. Feedback
Feedback is one of the indicators for assessing the performance of a seller’s account. After buyers purchase goods from a store, they can leave comments about the store based on their actual shopping experience. The quality of service, the speed of delivery, etc. are all things that buyers can express in Feedback.
In order to make sellers pay attention to the importance of Feedback, Amazon directly links Feedback with the ODR (Order Defect Rate) of the seller’s account performance. One-star and two-star Feedback are directly included in the ODR, and the quality of the ODR is determined by the ODR. Directly determines the safety of the seller’s account. When an account’s ODR indicator exceeds 1%, the account is in danger. As a result, in order to operate on the Amazon platform for a long time, sellers must continuously improve their service levels to maintain good account performance.
Feedback will be displayed in two places, one is the seller’s backend Performance. The second is the store homepage. When buyers enter the seller’s store page, they can see the feedback status of the store.
2. Review
Review can also be called “Product Review” (product review), which refers to the reviews left by Amazon users on the product listing itself. Review reviews are only for the product itself and have nothing to do with the seller’s service level and delivery time, etc., and will not affect account security.
Any Amazon user (a user who has purchased at least once on the Amazon platform) can post a review on the Listing they are interested in, regardless of whether they have purchased the product introduced by this Listing. Review of The quantity and quality will not be directly reflected in the seller’s store, but will have a direct impact on the exposure, ranking, and conversion rate of the listing.
Review will be directly displayed in the product listing. The total number of reviews for this listing is displayed under the title. The specific content of all reviews is displayed below the product listing.
