Stores that have opened SIP projects are different from ordinary stores in the following aspects.

Login method

For stores that have opened the SIP project, we can check the order status of other sites by logging in through the Taiwan website.

For ordinary stores, it is more troublesome for us to check the order status of other sites. The Shopee platform has 7 sites, and the login URL of each site is different. If we want to check the order status of 7 sites, we need to log in to 7 sites respectively. Of course, we can also centrally manage orders from 7 sites through some ERP systems.

How to upload products

Shops that have opened the SIP project do not need to upload products to other sites. The system will automatically synchronize information from the China Taiwan site to other sites, automatically translate product information in real time, and translate product information into the language of the corresponding site. For products that are banned or embargoed on other sites, the system will automatically prohibit them from being listed. Correspondingly, the China Taiwan site will also prohibit the sale of products that can be sold on other sites, and the information of these products will not be synchronized by the system. We cannot independently choose which product information to synchronize. If we do not want to synchronize the information of certain products, we need to contact the account manager to make adjustments. In addition, in order to protect the interests of sellers, product information with an actual selling price of less than NT$20 (NT$1,0.2293) on the China Taiwan site will not be synchronized to other sites.

There are two ways for ordinary stores to upload products (see Chapter 4): one is to have the account manager assist in copying the product information of each site, and the other is to copy the product information through the ERP system. We can carry out differentiated product sales based on the market conditions of the sites we open.

Store management

For stores that have opened the SIP project, currently, we can perform all operations on the Taiwan site, but the functions that can be operated on other sites are limited, and we can only set price adjustments independently. The ratio is to choose the bound payment platform and process the shipment, but cannot perform other operations independently, such as decorating the store, setting keyword ads, setting discount coupons and store promotions, etc. The price adjustment ratio refers to the price adjustment ratio we make to the selling price on non-Taiwan, China sites relative to the product’s price on the Taiwan, China site. The price adjustment ratio defaults to 80% and the maximum is 90%.

For ordinary stores, we can operate all functions of the store independently, and set different marketing methods and price strategies for different sites and different products.

Methods of communicating with buyers

For stores that have opened the SIP project, except for Taiwan, China, communication with buyers on other sites will be managed by Shopee platform staff. For this service, the Shopee platform currently does not charge fees. When there are problems on other sites and you need to communicate with us, the staff who communicate with buyers on the Shopee platform will communicate with us through “Chat Chat” on the Taiwan site.

For ordinary stores, we can arrange relevant personnel to communicate with buyers, or use the paid customer service function provided by the Shopee platform.
