Because Amazon does have a lot of regulations, and the various regulations are complicated, and Amazon’s requirements for sellers are extremely strict compared to other platforms. Many people who are experienced in operating other platforms will run into obstacles everywhere when they come to Amazon. In the end, I couldn’t even save my account.
When operating on Amazon, no matter how well you have done on other platforms before, you must have a zeroing mentality. Remember, Amazon’s operations are completely different from other platforms. If you are not careful, your account will be reviewed or even closed by Amazon. Next, let’s talk about how you should appeal to Amazon after your account is closed for violating Amazon’s regulations.
Amazon has many regulations. Due to space limitations, we cannot list them all. We will only give one of the most common examples.
Amazon has a group of sellers who like to create variations of products that sell well. It would be fine if it really complies with the variation rules of the current category, but there are many people who create variants under categories where it is clear that creation of variants is not allowed, which will trigger Amazon’s review and even directly close the store.
This type of violation is called Violation of Variations, which Amazon calls Violation of Variations. Once this kind of behavior is reported by a customer or discovered by Amazon, the sales authority will be closed directly, and the seller will be asked to submit a plan before continuing to open a store.
So if you encounter this kind of illegal variant and your account is closed by Amazon, what should be your rescue ideas? The first step is for the seller to figure out which product variants are illegal. This is a very critical step. It’s not difficult to figure out. After all, you should know very well which product cannot be modified but you have created a variant using a table violation. However, we cannot simply treat all variants as illegal variants. This is absolutely not possible, because reasonable variants are acceptable on Amazon.
The second step is to undo the variant relationships of all the offending variants and turn them into a single product. Let me emphasize again, do not blindly resolve variant relationships. You can only resolve illegal variants. Do not resolve variant relationships for normal variants.
The third step is to write an email. The idea behind writing the email is to first go through Amazon’s email and learn that behavior such as illegal variants does not comply with Amazon’s regulations. Also, the entire company re-learned all of Amazon’s policies and regulations, especially regarding variants, and identified all violating variants.
Note: It was said before that variants that comply with the regulations should not be canceled because if we cancel normal variant products, Amazon will think that we do not have a sufficient understanding of the definition of the variant and will refuse to cancel our account. Close the application.
Find all the violating variants, list these ASINs to Amazon, and request Amazon to review these ASINs. Next, tell Amazon that we have hired professional personnel to be responsible for subsequent Amazon operations, and will provide comprehensive training to all our future Amazon personnel to avoid this situation from happening again (if no FBA is issued).
So, the core solution to this problem is: we recognize the error and find all the wrong ASINs (remember, all the wrong ASINs, no omissions, no more, this is very key points), and then we corrected these mistakes and found professional personnel to guide us to avoid similar mistakes in the future. At the same time, in order to improve customer experience, our future goods will be sent through FBA.
