When a new product has been issued continuously for half a month to a month, reviews have increased steadily, and the conversion rate is above 10%, the Amazon platform will default that the product is a potential hot-seller and will be listed in the Seller Center backend. To directly recommend this product as a flash sale product, we open the backend of the Seller Center and select “Flash Sale” in the “Advertisement” drop-down menu.

After clicking “Instant Sale”.

If your product is considered by the system to be a potential hot-seller, it will be displayed in the “Recommended” column.

Then, sellers can choose new products suitable for promotion based on the existing situation of the product. The screenshot is from Prime Day in July 2018. Sellers can select the corresponding products to report Prime Day activities.

Scroll down the screen,

Select one of the products. If the product is a variant and has multiple listings, you need to select one of the product main images as the promotional image. What needs to be noted here is that the price of the products participating in the flash sale must be the lowest price within the last three months plus a 20% discount. For the promotional quantity of each product, the system will also have a corresponding minimum quantity prompt. The arrows in Figure 7.16 point to the minimum price and minimum quantity prompted by the system. Amazon will charge for all products participating in flash sales. The US site generally charges US$150/time, which may rise to US$300/time during major holidays, and may rise to US$500/time during Christmas. The British station is generally 25 pounds/time, and during major festivals it is 50 pounds/time. Other small language sites are generally 20 euros/time, and during large festivals it is 40 euros/time.

Finally, click the “Submit” button and wait for the system to allocate a specific flash sale time. Sellers should check this page frequently.
