Newbie A+ pages are often rejected because they contain content that Amazon restricts from publishing, including the following.

1. Guarantee or warranty information is strictly prohibited in A+ product descriptions, including references to return or refund policies other than Amazon, except when the product itself is a warranty card.

2. Any violation of restricted product policies, category requirements, or program policies is prohibited.

3. Do not list your company as a seller or distributor (for example, “Buy genuine products from us”) or mention seller authorization (for example, “Products are only sold by authorized dealers”).

4. Do not include any shipping details (for example, “Free Shipping”), QR codes, or personal information (for example, phone number, address, or email) on the A+ product description page.

5. Quotes from individuals, buyers, or other ordinary citizens may not be used in A+ product descriptions. A maximum of four quotes or endorsements are allowed, and these should only come from well-known publications or public figures, and must be accompanied by the author and date. If a publication is cited, the name of the publication should be provided.

6. Competitors’ products may not be referenced or compared to them, regardless of how they are mentioned (e.g., by name, by describing them as “another” or “other” or otherwise). This product description is intended to build the brand and provide more product details, not to discuss competitors.

7. Comparison images may only be compared to other products under the same brand. Comparisons with product categories, such as LED bulbs vs. halogen bulbs, are acceptable and will not be considered competitive labeling.

8. Do not include pricing, promotional details or discounts, do not mention promotions, such as “affordable,” “cheap,” “rewards,” or “free,” and do not use language that guides buyers to buy, such as “buy now,” “add to cart,” “get it now,” or “buy from us.”

9. Do not mention timeliness information, such as now, new, latest, still on sale, newest products, best at the moment, or mention holidays.

10. Trademark and copyright symbols may be used if they are reasonably sized, included on the product packaging, and/or always displayed as part of the mark, otherwise separate symbols are not allowed. Any trademark or copyright symbols must be removed from the text.

11. Web links or language that attempt to redirect to other websites inside or outside of Amazon (including your other products) are prohibited.

12. Product descriptions that violate any Amazon adult product policies and guidelines, or product descriptions that mention criminal activities are not allowed.

13. References to customer service or contact information outside of Amazon (such as “If you have any questions, please contact us”, phone numbers or email addresses) are prohibited.

14. Images or text that attempt to imitate the Amazon logo and detail page titles or details are not allowed. References to Amazon-supported programs or branded products are allowed.
