Merging products means merging other products of the same type into this product.
Take the example of merging a product whose parent SKU is WD01001GS into a product whose parent SKU is WP01001. First, copy the parent SKU WD01001GS of the product to be merged.
Find product WP01001 and click the “Measures” → “Merge Products” menu.
Paste WD01001GS and search, check the “I understand that this operation cannot be undone” option, and click the “Merge” button to complete the operation of merging products.
Notes:
?Merging products is performed between products of the same parent SKU type.
?After merging products, it cannot be undone and the operation is irreversible.
?Promotional (yellow diamond) products cannot be merged with any product.
?For two products to be merged, if the total number of additional images exceeds 10, the total number of additional images of the two products needs to be deleted to less than 10 before continuing to merge.
Remove variants
Removing variants is also called moving variants. It refers to the process of moving the sub-SKU of this product to another product, which will reduce one sub-SKU.
In this example, the parent SKU is WD01001R36, and the product with sub-SKU WP02003R38 is moved to the product with parent SKU WP01001.
Notes:
Promotional (yellow diamond) products cannot move variants, and there is no “remove variants” option.
Removing variants can only be done between two products with multiple sub-SKUs.
Non-promotional (yellow diamond) products cannot remove variants to promotional (yellow diamond) products.
On the premise of meeting the first three conditions, different types of products can also remove variants from each other.
