(1) The email address used by the seller on AliExpress must not contain any information that violates national laws and regulations, infringes on the rights of others, or interferes with the operation order of AliExpress. Otherwise, AliExpress has the right to require the seller to change the relevant information.
(2) The email address and contact information used by the seller on AliExpress must belong to the seller’s authorized representative. AliExpress has the right to verify the email address: otherwise, AliExpress has the right to refuse to provide services.
(3) The seller is obliged to properly maintain the access rights of the account. All operations and business activities under the account (including but not limited to the sub-accounts opened by the seller under the account) are deemed to be the seller’s behavior.
(4) AliExpress has the right to terminate and recover accounts that fail to pass identity authentication or have not logged into AliExpress or TradeManager for 180 consecutive days.
(5) If a user’s account on AliExpress is closed due to serious violations, he or she shall not re-register an account; if it is found that the account has been re-registered, AliExpress has the right to immediately stop service and close the seller’s account.
(6) The AliExpress member ID is automatically assigned by the system after the account is registered and cannot be modified.
(7) Certification, access and store opening. The AliExpress platform accepts individual businesses or companies that are legally registered and in normal existence to open stores, and has the right to verify and certify the status of the seller, including but not limited to entrusting Alipay to conduct real-name authentication. Sellers who are authenticated through Alipay real-name authentication should provide the true and valid name and identity information of the legal representative, contact address, registered address, business license and other information during the process of binding the AliExpress account with the Alipay account.
(8) After the product is released, the seller will automatically open a store on the platform, that is, a virtual space based on AliExpress technical services for displaying products (“store”). Except as agreed in these rules or other agreements, sellers who have completed authentication can open up to 6 virtual stores on AliExpress. Stores are not independent or divisible, and are technical services provided by the platform. Sellers shall not transfer or make any transactions with respect to stores.
(9) The seller promises and guarantees that the account registration and authentication are the same entity, and the authentication entity is the entity that bears the rights and responsibilities of the AliExpress account. If the seller uses other platform accounts under Alibaba Group (including but not limited to Taobao accounts, Tmall accounts, 1688 accounts, etc.) to apply for category services, the seller promises and guarantees that the subject of the authentication on AliExpress is the same as the subject of the account on other platforms under Alibaba Group, otherwise the platform has the right to immediately stop the service and close the AliExpress account. At the same time, if the seller uses the AliExpress account to apply for registration or open other platform accounts under Alibaba Group, the seller promises and guarantees that the same subject will be used for authentication or related registration on the relevant platform, otherwise the platform has the right to immediately stop the service and close the AliExpress account.
(10) Sellers who have completed authentication shall not register or use buyer accounts on AliExpress. If AliExpress has reasonable grounds to suspect that the seller has registered a buyer account on AliExpress in any way, AliExpress has the right to immediately close the buyer’s membership account and conduct market management on the seller in accordance with these rules. In serious cases, AliExpress has the right to immediately stop providing services to the seller.
(11) Sellers shall not trade AliExpress accounts (or other sellers’ rights and obligations) in any way, including but not limited to transferring, renting or lending accounts. If there is any related behavior, the seller shall bear joint and several liability for the behavior under the account, and AliExpress has the right to immediately stop the service and close the AliExpress account.
(12) If a seller who has completed authentication and settled in voluntarily withdraws or is forced to withdraw from the AliExpress platform and no longer operates, the platform will stop the category service permissions under the seller’s account (including but not limited to the function of retrieving in-site messages, leaving messages for completed orders, and the function of the store homepage, etc.) and stop supporting store access. If the seller stops operating on the platform for more than one year (regardless of whether the account is in use), the platform has the right to close the account.
(13) AliExpress store names and second-level domain names must comply with the naming specifications “AliExpress Second-Level Domain Name Application and Usage Specifications”, and must not contain relevant information such as violations of national laws and regulations, suspected of infringing on the rights of others, or interfering with the global operation order of AliExpress. Otherwise, AliExpress has the right to refuse the seller from using the relevant store name and second-level domain name, or cancel the store name and second-level domain name after discovery.
