1. Sellers transporting prohibited goods

Shopee Logistics will check the situation of sellers transporting prohibited goods every day. Once a seller is found to be shipping Class A prohibited goods, 3 penalty points will be charged for each order (for the guidance catalog of Class A prohibited goods, see “State Post Bureau and Ministry of Public Security Prohibited Goods Every 5 Orders will be charged 1 penalty point. If the customs and airlines find the package as contraband, it will be scored directly according to the category.

2. Complaints about sellers transporting prohibited goods

①If the prohibited goods transported by the seller are found by the customs or airlines, the seller cannot appeal.

②If the prohibited goods transported by the seller are found by the Shopee warehouse, please contact your account manager to file a complaint.③The cumulative number of orders for Class B prohibited goods will be Reset at the end of each quarter

④ The seller needs to provide videos or pictures to prove that the goods they transport are not prohibited goods.

⑤ Please make an appeal within the appeal period notified by the account manager. Appeals beyond the appeal period will not be accepted. If the seller has any objection to the appeal result, please make an appeal again within the appeal period.

⑥ If the seller is not sure whether the goods are prohibited goods, he can contact the warehouse customer service for consultation.

The reason for the penalty points for the seller’s transportation of prohibited goods is shown in the seller center as: Shipping fraud/ abuse (transportation prohibition), the Taiwan site translates it as: intentionally shipping wrong or no goods in order to circumvent shipping regulations.

3. Common prohibited items

Recently, many sellers have been found to transport prohibited items in Shopee warehouses, customs, and airports, resulting in many packages being detained by airports or customs, affecting logistics timeliness. In order to enhance the shopping experience of buyers and avoid delays in logistics timeliness caused by the transportation of prohibited items, sellers are requested to self-check and remove prohibited items.

Common prohibited items are as follows.

Multi-function tools (including knives), dog training launchers, igniters, live shells, dry branches (plants), simulated grenade keychains, bullet-shaped necklace accessories, magnesium rods/strips, brass knuckles, flamethrowers, currency (including but not limited to counterfeit coins, fake banknotes, ancient currencies, copper coins, counterfeit currencies).

4. Sellers transport empty packages or goods that do not match the order

Shopee The logistics department will check the seller’s transportation of goods every day. If it is found that the seller transports empty packages or transports goods that do not match the order in a certain number of times, the seller will be dealt with as follows.

Order discrepancies include the goods shipped not matching the description of the goods on the shelves, or the purchase quantity not matching the quantity of the goods in the package. For example, ① the goods do not match the actual goods. The seller’s listed goods are Bluetooth headsets, but the actual goods sent are screwdrivers; ② the quantity does not match. The buyer’s order purchase quantity is 300, but only 1 is actually sent.

The seller will be investigated while accepting the above penalties. The relevant personnel will find out the reasons for transporting empty packages or not matching the order. If the seller is found to have fraud or abuse such as brushing orders, the seller will be punished accordingly.

If the seller can provide evidence to prove that the above rules have not been violated, please be sure to raise an objection within the retention period notified by the account manager. After the retention period, the package will be destroyed.

If the seller violates the transportation prohibition policy, all expenses investigated by the customs shall be borne by the seller.
