In order to help sellers better manage the products on the shelves and provide buyers with a good shopping experience. Shopee platform will limit the number of products on the shelves according to the different types of stores.

1. Taiwan Station

Restriction rules for the number of products on the Taiwan Station.

On the first Tuesday of each month, the Shopee platform will evaluate the store type based on the data of the past 30 days from the last Tuesday of the previous month. During the week, sellers will display products according to the number of products on the shelves of the corresponding store type. If the number of products on the shelves of the seller exceeds the limit, the seller will not be able to list new products and the products exceeding the quantity limit will be hidden.

【Note】

① The regulations on the number of products on the shelves also apply to SIP stores.

③If the store is a preferred store or a mall store, it will follow the original regulations on the number of products on the shelves and will not be affected by the new policy.

2. Other sites

Restriction rules for the number of products on the shelves of other sites.

The Shopee platform evaluates store types every Tuesday, and sellers will display products according to the corresponding store type’s product quantity limit for that week. If the number of products a seller has listed exceeds the limit, the seller will not be able to list new products and the products that exceed the quantity limit will be hidden.

3. Other situations that trigger the limit on the number of products on the shelves

① The penalty points for violating the listing rules have accumulated to a certain level.

② Ordinary sellers exceed the pre-sale product quantity requirement. Except for the Indonesian site, if the number of pre-sale products of a store exceeds 100 (including 100) and the proportion of pre-sale products is higher than a certain standard, the store’s upper limit on the number of products on the shelves is 500 (1,000 for the Malaysian site). The excess will be automatically hidden by the system, and sellers will not be able to upload new products.
