After selecting the product for FBA, we need to convert the product link to be FBA from FBM self-delivery mode to FBA Amazon delivery mode in the Amazon seller backend, and generate the corresponding product label, shipment label, and pallet label in the seller backend.

Product label. The product label is also called FNSKU, which is a label starting with X00 and must cover the original barcode of the product. The product label is the mark that Amazon FBA warehouse uses to identify the product and allow the product to be put into the warehouse and put on the shelf.

Shipment label. The shipment label refers to the label posted on the outer box of the package, which is marked with a shipment number (Shipment ID: FBAXXXXXX). If a shipment has multiple outer boxes of packages, it will be reflected in U001 and U002 of the shipment number. The shipment label is the mark of the outer box of the package that confirms the goods when the Amazon warehouse receives the goods.

Pallet label. The pallet label refers to the label that must be posted on all four sides of a pallet. There are 4 pallet labels in total, which are similar to the shipment label. It is worth mentioning that pallet labels are used more frequently in the process of ocean shipping, especially for sellers selling large products. Regarding whether to use pallet labels, if you are a seller of large and heavy goods, then I suggest that you consult Amazon’s backend customer service before shipping and communicate clearly with your FBA first-leg logistics provider.
