On the Ozon platform, Sponsored Brands has become a key strategy for sellers to increase visibility of their products and attract more buyers. Starting October 4, 2023, Ozon will launch the Sponsored Brands tool to make sellers’ products more visible in search results and filters. If you sell products under a promoted brand, you will have the opportunity to use this additional promotion tool. Here are the important information about Sponsored Brands:

Benefits:

Brand Logo Highlighting: Buyers will only see the brand logo on products that have Sponsored Brands enabled. This means that your products will stand out under the brand logo in the filter, making the brand more visible.

Product Card and Brand Name: Your products will display the brand name in the product card and search results, making the products more attractive among competitors.

Promotion Price:

If one of the brands you sell becomes a promoted brand, Ozon will send a notification message to the seller and your products will automatically start to be promoted. As for promotional prices, sellers can manage them in the Products & Prices → Brands → My Brands section and choose whether to participate in the promotion.

Product upload and editing:

When sellers upload new products, Ozon will identify whether there are products from promoted brands, and these products will be highlighted with a logo. Sellers can hover the cursor over the logo to view prompt information. Products that have been enabled for brand promotion will automatically start to promote after passing the review, and can be managed in the Products & Prices → Brands → My Brands section.

When editing a product, if the seller selects a promoted brand, the seller will see relevant prompt information. Ozon may require sellers to provide brand documents to prove that the seller has the right to sell these products. If the seller cannot provide the documents, the product will be hidden and will not be displayed to buyers, and the brand promotion fee will not be refunded.

Promotion management:

If the seller’s role is “Supervisor” or “Administrator”, the seller will be able to manage promotions in the Personal Center. Ozon will start charging sales commissions for promoted brand products on October 4. If the seller sells products of the promoted brand, the promotion will be automatically turned on and will be free for 3 days.

If the seller wants to turn off the promotion of the product, he can find the desired brand in the Products & Prices → Brands → My Brands section and turn off the promotion next to it. Ozon will remove the product from the promotion and stop charging commission. Please note that sellers can only turn it off after 24 hours of opening it.

If the seller wants to start promoting the product again, he can also turn it back on 24 hours after closing it.
