The full name of FBA is: Fullfillment By Amazon Amazon Logistics Service. Amazon is responsible for the storage and management of goods, packaging goods, providing fast delivery, and providing customer service and return services in local languages.
Using FBA process:
Step 1: Send goods to Amazon sellers, send new or second-hand goods to Amazon’s overseas logistics center, and upload product information to the seller’s platform. Let Amazon distribute all or part of the inventory, print the PDF labels provided by Amazon or use the Amazon Logistics Label Service, use Amazon discount delivery or choose the seller’s own carrier.
Step 2: Amazon stores the seller’s goods. Amazon stores the product categories in the inventory that Amazon is ready to sell. Amazon accepts and scans the seller’s inventory, records the size of the goods, and monitors the inventory through Amazon’s integrated tracking system.
Step 3: Customers place orders on the Amazon platform to purchase goods. Amazon will order FBA products, including orders generated directly on Amazon, or delivery requirements submitted by sellers that are not sold on Amazon; orders with a total price of more than $35 are eligible for free delivery, and the products will be sorted by the product price excluding shipping costs; Amazon Gold Service members can update eligible Amazon Logistics product delivery settings (Note: multi-channel delivery orders from other websites including Amazon Webstore and Checkout by Amazon are not included).
Step 4: Amazon sorts, packs and prepares for shipment from the seller’s inventory. Amazon Logistics packs the seller’s products from the inventory classification and prepares for delivery; Amazon uses advanced websites to locate seller products to warehouses, high-speed sorting and classification systems; buyers can merge the seller’s orders with other products distributed by Amazon
Step 5: Amazon delivers the goods from the logistics center to the customer. Amazon sellers’ products are distributed to buyers from the network of operation centers; Amazon distributes the buyer’s orders using the distribution method selected by the buyer and provides tracking information for the buyer. Buyers can contact Amazon for customer service to place orders on Amazon.
The above is some knowledge about the Amazon FBA logistics and delivery service process.
