Fourth, Douyin Shop Selling Goods
Douyin not only embraces Taobao to accelerate content e-commerce, but also launches Douyin Shop to create its own selling platform. Since Douyin opened Taobao, the sharp-eyed “Douyin merchants” have quickly occupied this fertile land and harvested the first batch of dividends. Douyin Shop is connected to Toutiao’s Fangxingou Mall. Users can enter the platform from the Douyin help page, or log in through the PC. Note that you must choose a Douyin account to log in. If you want to open a Douyin shop, you need to first understand the process of opening a Douyin shop. Specifically, the general process of opening a Douyin shop is as follows.
Step 01 Search for “Value Point Merchant Backstage” in the browsing box, enter the official website interface shown in Figure 8-24, and select the login method. Here, the author takes the login of Toutiao account as an example.
Step 02 After the operation is completed, enter the “Mobile Number Login” interface. Enter the mobile phone number and verification code in this interface, and click the “Login” button below.
Step 03 Enter the business type selection interface and select the business type of Douyin Store. Douyin e-commerce operators only need to click the “Next” button below the corresponding type. Here, we take the small store merchant as an example.
Step 04 After the operation is completed, enter the settlement type selection interface. In this interface, click the “Next” button below the corresponding settlement method according to the needs. Here, we take the settlement of individual business owners as an example.
Step 05 After the operation is completed, enter the settlement store type selection interface, select the type of human settlement store, and click the “Next” button at the bottom of the interface.
Step 06 Enter the material interface that needs to be prepared before settlement. If the information is ready, you can click the “Ready, start filling” button below to settle in the store.
Step 07 Enter the information filling interface. Douyin e-commerce operators only need to fill in the subject information and human settlement information as required, and pass the review of Douyin to complete the settlement.
Douyin Store is an internal e-commerce function launched by Douyin for the monetization of influencer content. Through Douyin Store, there is no need to jump to external links to complete the purchase. The e-commerce closed loop can be realized directly within Douyin, allowing influencers to realize faster monetization and also providing users with a better consumer experience.
V. H5 Store Sales
Douyin Enterprise Account can set an external link jump button in the personal homepage. After clicking, users can directly jump to the H5 page to complete the order purchase. The following is a brief introduction to the specific steps for Douyin users to purchase goods.
Step 1 Log in to the Douyin Short Video App and click on the URL link in the personal homepage of the Douyin account, such as “Official Website” in “UNIQLO”.
Step 2 Because it is an H5 page outside the site, when Douyin users click on this type of link, a warning text will appear: “Please visit non-Douyin Short Video official website with caution to avoid being deceived and causing losses.” If the Douyin user is sure to go, click the “Continue to visit” button.
After completing step 3, enter the official website of Uniqlo.
Step 06405 Select the product you want to buy. Enter the product details interface and click the “Buy Now” button below.
Step 06 Enter the product selection interface and select the color, size and other information of the product.
Step 07 If this is the first time that a Douyin user enters the website to shop through a link in Douyin, he or she will also need to enter the mobile phone number, verification code, etc. to log in. If you have not registered an account on the platform, you can click the “Register” button to register.
Step 08 Enter the registration interface, enter the mobile phone number, check the “I have read and agreed to the “Registered User Agreement” and “Uniqlo Privacy Policy” checkbox, and click the “Next, verify mobile phone number” button.
Compared to completing the purchase directly on the Douyin platform, purchasing products through H5 store external links is undoubtedly much more troublesome. In addition, when jumping to the external link, a reminder that it is not the Douyin official website will appear, which makes people feel that there may be risks in entering the external link. Therefore, most users do not purchase products directly through H5 store external links.
What Douyin e-commerce operators need to do is to find ways to increase Douyin users’ willingness to buy in the H5 store page, so that Douyin users feel that your products are worth buying, although a little troublesome to buy.
