1. Activity type.

Automatic selection: In this activity type, Ozon automatically adds products to the activity. This applies to products that have less than ten reviews or products that are not in the manually set “Review Points” activity. The goal of the activity is to increase the number of reviews for the product to at least 10. Once a product accumulates 10 reviews, it will be automatically removed, and products that have been added to the activity cannot be manually deleted. There is no budget limit for this activity type.

Attract buyers through the “Leave a review and get points” activity: This solution is suitable for products that have not yet received orders. You can set your own list of products that need to collect reviews, the number of reviews, and the activity period. You can also set the amount of the review reward, but it cannot be less than the following minimum bids:

Text review: 100 points

Review with photo: 150 points

Review with video: 150 points

After the buyer completes the review of the product within 5 days of purchase, they will receive corresponding points, which can be used to purchase other products on Ozon. The “Leave a review and get points” activity can be cancelled at any time, and after cancellation, the label (badge) on the product will disappear.

2. How to calculate the amount paid in reward points?

When calculating the payment amount, the following factors will be taken into account:

The amount of points paid to the buyer

Ozon’s commission, usually 20%

The value-added tax on the product, usually 20% per item

Example:

Suppose a buyer sees a tagged product on August 17 and places an order. The “Leave a review and get points” activity is closed on August 18. If the buyer receives the product on August 20 and leaves a review on August 24, he will receive review points. Since he left the review less than 5 days after receiving the product, the product is still eligible. The points amount paid to the buyer will be deducted from the customer, and Ozon will charge a commission and VAT.
