1. Create a Facebook page
First, the company needs to create a Facebook public page for its brand (product). If a Facebook public page is not created, Facebook ads cannot be created. When the company has created a Facebook page, it needs to invite some Facebook users (familiar friends) to like the Facebook page.
2. Select a Facebook ad account
Select the platform and product through the Facebook Ads Manager page, and click Go to Ads Manager, as shown in Figure 4-13. Then, select an ad account.
3. Create a Facebook ad
After entering the ad account, click the “Create Ad” button to create an ad. Select the ad target and name the newly created ad.
4. Add ad materials
In order to achieve better advertising results, when creating Facebook ads, make in-depth plans on materials such as ad images and promotional copy.
5. Set the ad budget and ad delivery and exposure schedule
If it is the first time to create a Facebook ad, it is recommended to set a lower ad budget.
6. Define the target audience
Finding the precise target audience is an important part of the Facebook advertising process. The more a company understands the target market, the more likely it is that its Facebook advertising will be successful. Facebook advertising target audience characteristics include age, region, hobbies and behaviors.
When setting the target audience for Facebook advertising, you need to consider the following points:
·The audience size should be at least 10,000 people. The higher the Facebook ad display volume, the better the advertising effect;
·The more specific the better, use detailed targeting;
·Audience relationships are very important. Make sure that the company has used cross-border e-commerce relationships such as “Amazon.com” as a relationship keyword, and try to fill in audience relationships related to the company’s products.
7. Optimization and delivery
Set the ad placement, delivery goals and cost control.
After completing the settings, click the “Continue” button to fill in the ad content and content related to the ad creative. At this point, the creation process of a Facebook ad has been completed. Click “Publish” to publish the set ad to the Facebook homepage.
