The following uses China Post Registered Air Mall on AliExpress as an example to understand the steps of online delivery. China Post Registered Air Mall is an air mail product launched by China Post for small items weighing less than 2kg, and its delivery range is global. The online delivery process includes 7 main steps.

(1) Select online delivery for orders to be shipped

Click the “Transaction” menu in the main menu of the AliExpress seller side, and then click the “All Orders” hyperlink in the “Manage Orders” column on the left side of the transaction page. Open the “My Orders” page, click the “Waiting for Your Shipment” option in the “Orders Waiting for Your Operation” option area to filter the orders waiting to be shipped, and click the “Online Delivery” button in the “Action” column on the far right of the order.

(2) Select a logistics plan

After selecting the “Online Delivery” method, the system lists the available online delivery logistics plans and estimated shipping costs based on the order information. Sellers select a suitable logistics plan in the “Service Name” list based on actual conditions and needs, such as “Ruston Airlines”.

(3) Create a logistics order (can be in batches)

After selecting a logistics plan, the “Create Logistics Order” page appears. If the order meets the collection rules, you can click to select the “Apply for door-to-door collection” checkbox. If the order does not meet the collection rules, the seller needs to select “Domestic Express”, ship the goods to the domestic logistics company for collection and storage, and fill in the “Domestic Logistics Order Number”. Before shipping, it is best for the seller to click the “View Shipping Restrictions” button in the lower right corner of the page to confirm that the goods meet the regulations.

The seller can also create logistics orders in batches by clicking the “Transaction” menu in the main menu and clicking the “Batch Online Shipping” hyperlink in the “Manage Online Shipping Logistics Orders” column on the left side of the page. Filter orders by time or online shipping status, select the online shipping logistics method, export the Excel format order table, and then upload the online shipping file (that is, the filled Excel order table), and click the “Submit” button.

(4) Packing of goods (shipping labels need to be printed)

After the logistics order is successfully created, the seller should pack the goods and then print the shipping labels, which can be printed in batches. After printing, affix the shipping label to the outer packaging of the goods package and then hand the package over to the logistics company.

(5) Delivery to the logistics company (can be picked up at the door)

The logistics company will pick up the package at the door if it meets the collection rules of the logistics company. If the package does not meet the collection rules of the logistics company, the seller needs to ship it to the designated warehouse by himself. The specific collection rules can be viewed in the logistics section of the AliExpress website.

(6) Fill in the shipping notice (can be batched)

After the logistics order is successfully created, the system will generate a waybill number. The seller can click the “Transaction” menu in the main menu and click the “International Parcel Order” hyperlink in the “Manage Online Shipping Logistics Orders” column on the left side of the page. Then select the “Shipping Notice to be Filled” option in the “Status” option area to filter the orders. Click the “Fill in Shipping Notice” button in the “Operation” column on the right side of the filtered logistics orders, fill in the relevant information, and send the shipping notices to the customer one by one. The seller can also click the “Batch Fill in Shipping Notice” button above the logistics order list to fill in the relevant information in batches and send them to the customer together.

(7) Pay freight (in batches)

Select the “To be paid” option in the “Status” area of the “International Parcel Order” page to filter the orders. Sellers can click the “Pay” button in the “Operation” column on the right side of each order to pay one by one, or click the “Batch Payment” drop-down button above the logistics order list and select “Alipay Payment” or “Alipay International Account Payment” in the drop-down list to make batch payments.

After payment is completed, the seller can click the “Transaction” menu in the main menu and click the “Freight Statistics” hyperlink in the “Manage Online Shipping Logistics Orders” column on the left side of the page to calculate the freight and download the freight report.

After shipping, the seller should fill in the logistics order number in time and tell the customer the logistics order number and other information as soon as possible so that the customer can know the information and increase the customer’s trust in the seller. If the seller chooses the online shipping method, fill in the information required for the shipping notice and submit it. The system will automatically generate a shipping notice and send it to the customer.

If the seller has shipped the order, you can send a shipping notification to the customer by clicking the “Contact” button below the customer’s name on the order page.
