Many new Amazon sellers have the problem of not knowing the Amazon charging standards, so the editor wrote this article to introduce the Amazon order fee calculation standards.

1. All the fees

The total FBA fee includes order delivery fees, monthly inventory storage fees and long-term storage fees, removal order fees, return processing fees and unplanned service fees.

2. Calculation standards for each fee

1. Order delivery fee

The amount of this fee depends on the size and weight of the goods. Goods are divided into five types: small standard size, large standard size, small large piece, medium large piece, large large piece, special large piece. The delivery fees of different sizes vary according to weight (weight is calculated in ounces and pounds).

2. Warehousing and storage fees

This part consists of monthly inventory storage fees and long-term storage fees. Amazon usually charges the monthly inventory storage fee for the previous month from the 7th to the 15th of each month, and the fee is charged by cubic feet. For goods stored in the operation center for more than 365 days, Amazon will conduct a warehouse inventory on the 15th of each month, and then charge long-term storage fees based on size.

3. Removal order fee

This charge is for products that cannot be sold and are cancelled by the seller. Amazon charges removal fees by weight. Generally, the cancellation will be processed within 14 working days, but during holidays or peak relocation periods, the processing of removal orders may be extended to 30 working days or even longer.

4. Return processing fee

This fee is generated by orders that Amazon provides buyers with free returns. The return processing fee is equal to the total delivery fee of the selected goods.

5. Unplanned service fee

If the goods shipped to the Amazon operation center have safety issues, are not properly pre-processed or labeled, Amazon will perform further processing, which will incur this unplanned service fee. This service will be charged per piece.

The above is the classification and standards of Amazon FBA fee collection. By understanding these cost details, we can make more reasonable plans and further reduce costs. Today’s sharing ends here, see you next time!
