Many new Amazon sellers know nothing about FBA.

So today we will answer a question and see what are the correct practices when using Amazon FBA.

1. Amazon officially reminds that one or more boxes in my shipment exceed the maximum size limit. What is the reason?

Please measure the box before sending it to the operation center. According to Amazon’s official regulations, any side of the box containing multiple standard-sized items cannot exceed 25 inches in length. All packaged products are products that do not exceed 20 pounds, the longest side does not exceed 18 inches, the second longest side does not exceed 14 inches, and the shortest side does not exceed 8 inches.

2. Amazon officially reminds that one or more boxes in my shipment exceed the maximum weight limit. What is the reason?

According to Amazon’s official regulations, boxes cannot exceed the standard weight limit of 50 pounds unless they contain a single large item weighing more than 50 pounds. Boxes containing jewelry or watches cannot exceed 40 pounds.

For a single large shipment, be sure to label the top and sides of the box with the following labels:

Multi-movement box: for boxes weighing more than 50 pounds.

Mechanical lift: for boxes weighing more than 100 pounds. 3. When I send the goods to Amazon, what are the follow-up operations?

After Amazon receives the goods from the seller, it will open the box to check the goods. After the seller’s goods are successfully put into the warehouse, the buyer can place an order.

4. I suddenly received a lot of orders and now they are out of stock. What should I do? What if it takes a long time to replenish these goods?

With the sale of your own FBA, provide domestic delivery options, make the listing available for sale, and arrange shipment as soon as possible. Once the goods arrive at the warehouse, use the FBA inventory to ship in time.

5. What if the FNSKU is wrongly labeled?

Open the case first and let Amazon open the box to check the product to determine whether it is really wrong. If the difference between the two products is too large, ask Amazon to help change the label. If the difference between the two products is not big, you need to find a logistics service provider to return them to the overseas warehouse for conversion, and then send them to the Amazon warehouse. Because the cost of changing the label is too high, you can choose to give up if the product value is not high.

6. The listing is deleted, what about the FBA inventory?

You can use a large batch form to upload, try to fill in all the information that needs to be filled in, restore to the same sku, asin, title, etc., and then upload it. If you don’t want to continue selling, create a removal order or destroy it in the background after uploading to deal with the FBA inventory.

7. My product is in the Amazon FBA distribution center and has been lost for more than 30 days. Can I claim compensation from Amazon?

No problem. You can claim compensation in the following situations:

Stored in the Amazon FBA warehouse and lost for more than 30 days.

Due to the operational error of the Amazon FBA warehouse, the product is damaged and stored in the Amazon warehouse.

Products destroyed by Amazon without the seller’s permission.

Products that are damaged or lost by the carrier entrusted by Amazon when using Amazon FBA for delivery.
