Major festivals and eating habits in Germany
In addition to New Year’s Day (January 1), Christmas (December 25), and Halloween (November 1), other major festivals in Germany include German Unity Day (October 3) and Munich Oktoberfest (from the last week of September to the first week of October each year). In terms of eating habits, Germans have a light taste and prefer sweet and sour food. They do not like greasy or spicy dishes, but prefer all kinds of fruits and desserts. Germans like to drink beer and wine.
